Psychology of Parenting Project

Psychology of Parenting Project is a service in East Renfrewshire for children aged between 1 and 8 years old.

They offer support to parents who are struggling with the behaviour of their children. 

They have Discussion groups which are one off interventions for families to attend and  focuses on one topic. These include, disobedience, fighting and aggression and difficulties related to going shopping. Parents can self refer by phoning 0141 451 0777 or by email using PoPP@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk. You can also speak to your health visitor regarding this.

Generic groups are also offered and these are called Incredible years and Triple P Group, these offer more intensive support for the above problems and are aimed at children between the ages of 3-6. Incredible years last 15 weeks and Triple P is 9 weeks. The referral details are the same as above.
