Consulting times
Our doctors and nurses consult between the hours of 08:00 am and 18:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
We are also open for extended hours from 07:30 am Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and offer a later appointments in the evening until 18:30 pm on Thursday and Friday. Please ask a member of staff about these specific appointment times if required.
The surgery may be open on days from 7:30am but phones are diverted to NHS 24 until 8:30am, Monday to Friday. If you still hear the message the surgery is closed between 8:30am and 9am, this will be because of staff training.
At the end of the message you are offered an alternative emergency number to call if your problem needs to be dealt with before 9am.
We are available to deal with problems during these times:
- 8 am to 11:45 pm, emergency and routine problems
- 11:45 to 2 pm, emergency problems only
- 2 pm to 16:45 pm, emergency and routine problems
- 16:45 pm to 6pm, emergency problems only
Surgery closures
The surgery will close on the following bank holidays:

- Monday 29th September 2025 – September holiday
- Thursday 25th December 2025 – Christmas Day
- Friday 26th December 2025 – Boxing Day
- Thursday 1st January 2026 – New Years Day
- Friday 2nd January 2026
